Gjensidige Insurance choosed Crisis Commander in 2008. It was delivered by the Norwegian Crisis Managemenent expert company Itum Norsk Informasjonssikkerhet. This implementation has now expanded to 6 systems within the Group, including the headquarter module ”Mission Control Centre”.
The Group Security Director at Gjensidige, Mr Espen Jul Larsen, says that one further step has been taken to handle and co-ordinate crisis situations within the Group.
Gjensidige, with more than 3.500 employees, is one of the leading players in the Nordic general insurance market. The group offers general insurance products in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the three Baltic countries. In addition the group offers online retail banking, pension and savings products and health care services in Norway.
